I got an email back at the first of the year asking for some simple houses. Last weekend while I was visiting my friend Vikki we had fun dreaming up different houses. I now have the templates just the way I want them and am playing around with color placement. My personal preference would be brights or plaids, but solid colors show up so much better on the web.

I like the picket fences and the lights in the windows
they'll be fun to make into a quilt and put our own twists on them.

Great new house quilt idea!!
I am collecting these houses to make a quilt for a friend who loves houses. She's been looking for a variety of houses and hasn't found what she wants. This will make a perfect gift.
