Sorry for the lack of posts on here of late. Jon had a small bowel obstruction and surgery on November 23. It was a close call and has been a rough recovery. He took up a lot of my free time, lol. Now though things are getting back to normal and I feel like I can take a breath without breaking. We had an amazing Christmas together with family and close friends.
On the quilting side of things, I know I still have a sewing room out there, somewhere. There is a new block of the month up on the FatCat Patterns web site. Go check it out!

I would like to make one of your free patterns, but have never done much applique. Do you have some general directions. I also notice some pieces of the pattern have an "A" and a "D" or "F". Do I use one pieve twice? Please help me.
