I am so excited I just have to share this. I was trolling through Craig's List looking for a sewing cabinet for Vicky, I intend to give her a machine and want it in a nice sturdy cabinet. Then I found this beauty! I felt kind of bad because the young man didn't know or appreciate what he had, but that didn't stop me from scooping it up for his 100 dollar asking price! The machine is a beaut, but her wiring all needs to be replaced, it actually crumbled apart in my hands. The wheel however turns smoothly and I am sure Jon and I can get it running right along. First job though is to clean up the cabinet. I will be keeping this one for myself (greedy me) and gifting Vicky with the cabinet I already had! The cabinet base opens up and has 3 drawers a cubby and a thread rack. Deeper inside the case are three small cupboards with closing doors. It has the original knee control lever! And the spring bar that pops out to support the extended sewing area.

That is a fabulous find! And a great price - why don't I ever find things like that! I have a friend who does though, she currently has 24 machines. Only a few are new!
